Mrs. K came to me looking for a secret photo session to surprise her husband with for Valentine’s Day. And of course, I was happy to oblige.
She was not only incredibly GORGEOUS, but was such a sport about it, and had an amazingly infectious laugh. Can you tell we had fun?
It was even more fun because she brought along one of her girlfriends, to help out with the photo styling, and just to help her feel more comfortable…
And you know, I’m hoping to photograph you next, Ms. P!

Enjoy the photos, A. And you’ll have to let me know what your husband thought of his Valentine’s Day sexy present!!!
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. W!!!
Wow. Just WOW!
I can’t tell you how lovely this couple is. Soooo nice and soooooo much in love. It was a true pleasure photographing their recent Scottsdale Wedding. They had rented a G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S estate in McDowell Mountain Ranch, right at the top of the road, with the incredible mountain surrounding the house, and some amazing views. It was just spectacular! The views, the house itself, the bride and groom, their family and friends. I was so happy to be a big part of their special day.
Please enjoy this sneak peek to Candace’s and Jeff’s wedding. And yes, it was definitely as much fun as it looks! These people know how to have FUN!!!
Thanks again, Candace and Jeff for choosing me to be your Scottsdale Wedding Photographer. It was my honor and pleasure.

Oh, and to see more photos, please “like” me on Facebook.
Kristen and Aaron (see their engagement session here)picked the most perfect day for their wedding at Gold Canyon Golf Resort, at the far East end of the Valley. It was a Scottsdale Wedding Photographer‘s dream!
I was so happy to be part of their big day… you could feel the love between them, they were practically glowing!
And after the ceremony, their friends and family toasted to the happy couple, as is tradition in most wedding receptions. Well, let me tell you, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house (yes, even mine, LOL!)
What a beautiful story, what a beautiful couple, both inside and out.
Thank you again Kristen and Aaron for choosing me to photograph your wedding. I am truly honored.
You two are just soooooo gorgeous, you help make my Arizona wedding photography look that much better.
I wish you two nothing but the best, and a very happy and loving marriage for years and years to come.
π
Enjoy your Scottsdale/Phoenix wedding photography… I know I enjoyed shooting it.
I had so much fun photographing Tiffany and Sam a few weeks ago at the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. As you can see, they’re a beautiful, fun and loving couple. Oh, and they’re super nice too.
They actually reminded me a lot of my cousin Julie and her new husband Jared… Like Julie and Jared, Tiffany is medical doctor and Sam is a pharmacist. And these two are just so nice and fun, I had the best time spending time with them during their engagement photography session. Can’t wait for the wedding!!!
Thanks again Tiffany and Sam, enjoy your Scottsdale engagement photos!
Aren’t Arizona sunsets just the best???
Jeff and Candace are a newly-transplanted couple who just moved down to the valley from Canada, eh? They’re so darn cute, and very enthusiastic about calling Scottsdale home… even in 100Β°+ heat, LOL. As they say, at least you don’t have to shovel sunshine.
π
They wanted to do their engagement session in Scottsdale, but wanted some tall, established trees and a natural setting as a backdrop and I knew Scottsdale’s Railroad park would be the perfect place for this session. Plus, it has a super cute, old fashioned carousel and some cool trains that we could also use in the session.
Jeff and Candace were up for it, so over to the railroad park we headed. We chose to shoot in the evening so we could get that great, warm, Arizona light that looks so terrific in photos, and we also took advantage of the setting sun to get a beautiful sunset shot.
Thanks again, so much, Jeff and Candace. It was fun spending some time with the two of you. You guys make such a great couple, and I can’t wait for your wedding!!!
Congratulations again!

Jeremy and Adrienne met in grade school. Yep, grade school. (see their Scottsdale engagement photography session here)
π
They haven’t always been together… they drifted their separate ways for a while… but they were always MEANT to be together. You can tell just by looking at them. They make each other happy. They complete each other.
I met Adrienne through a photography/modeling forum that I frequent. We discovered that we lived close to each other, and got together a few times. She even participated in my recent Scottsdale bridal photo shoot at a local hotel when we were looking for models… So when she asked me to shoot her wedding I was honored that she would choose me. I know she values photography, and I know she’s SUPER photogenic and would be great fun to work with on her wedding day, so of course I jumped at the chance.
And the added bonus for me was that I wanted to attend the rehearsal the night before the Scottsdale wedding ceremony, and she let me bring my girls with me! OMG they had such a fantastic time, seeing the bridal party, spending time with Adrienne (whom they adore!!!) and getting to meet her “prince” Jeremy. (yes, they see everything in terms of a fairy tale, LOL).
Oh, and as a fun little fact… in the course of our working together and preparing for the wedding, we discovered that Adrienne and I share the same birthday! October 19th, right around the corner. No wonder we hit it off so well. Happy birthday next week, Adrienne!!!

Well, as you can see from these photos, the wedding was everything I was hoping it would be. A gorgeous bride, a very loving family, amazingly fun wedding party, and tons of really great friends. There was almost no stress that day, everyone was just having a fantastic time, celebrating the marriage of Jeremy and Adrienne. Aside from loving to photograph weddings, I really, really love to participate in these special occasions because it’s such a happy time. So much hope and anticipation of their future life together.
Thank you so much, Adrienne and Jeremy for choosing me to document your wedding day with photographs. I truly loved being part of the day, and I hope I was able to capture not just the day for you, but the emotions and especially the love you have for each other.

Recently, I got together with Adrienne and Jeremy to do their engagement session. This is really the last minute, because I’m photographing their actual wedding this Saturday, LOL. But we all really wanted to do this shoot together. I always like to do either engagement photos with my Brides and Grooms, or Bridal photos with the Brides because it allows us to spend some time together and get to know each other before the big wedding day. Plus, these kind of shoots allow the couple to relax, get romantic, and just be themselves, without the pressure of their wedding day!
This session was extra fun because Adrienne and Jeremy have chosen to have a fifties-style wedding, so we thought we’d extend the theme into their Arizona engagement photography session at the Scottsdale Pavillions. We met at the 5 and Diner. I had gotten permission prior to the shoot by the manager to take photos of them. We picked a time when the restaurant wouldn’t bee overly crowded, and we went to town, LOL. They each ordered milk shakes, and they had brought some old-fashion Coke bottles along with them as photo props for their Scottsdale wedding engagement photography.
They each dressed and styled themselves to look the part. Don’t they both look like they traveled through a time machine to arrive at our Scottsdale wedding engagement photography session???
I can’t wait until this weekend to see how they look for their Scottsdale Wedding Photography at their actual wedding! How much fun!!!
Ummmm, Adrienne can hula-hoop like you wouldn’t believe. Seriously! I finally had to ask her to move on before we lost our light, or she might have stayed there all night long, LOL.
After we got all the shots we wanted at the diner, we headed across the parking lot to the movie theater. They’ve just remodeled and I was excited to get some more modern, intimate shots of them with the dramatic architecture and play of light, shadows and colors over there…
